What changed

  • Watch mode. e2e run --watch (-w) runs the tests, then runs again when a test file, a source file beside the tests, or the config is saved. Vitest-style keys include a or enter for every test, r for current filters, f for failed tests, u to update snapshots, p and t to filter by file and title, and q to quit. A key press during a run cancels it. The release notes say it is refused in CI and with --reporter json.
  • Expired sessions. An expired saved session is now rejected on later restores even when its state is cached in the worker.
  • Cancellation. Model-call cancellation is respected while waiting for a shared subscription token refresh.
  • TypeScript projects. Aliases and compiler settings are resolved from nested solution-style TypeScript project references.
  • Shutdown. On POSIX, surviving app-command descendants are stopped even when the command leader exits first, preserving the shutdown grace period for the whole process group.
  • Bundled agent skill. SKILL.md now opens with a table routing each job to one reference, and its description covers checking a change in the running app over e2e mcp.

What does the project say E2E does? According to the product site, e2e remembers an agent's actions and replays compatible cached actions without calling the model again, and it tests web and mobile applications through one shared API.

What license does it use? The GitHub API reports Apache-2.0 for the repository, per the repository page.
