Opik released 2.2.103 on October 16, 2026. It is an update to the existing observability and evaluation platform.
What changed
- The SDK gains an integration with the native Together AI SDK.
- Google ADK span tracking is fixed for spans opened via start_span with google-adk 2.12.0.
- Saving an unchanged prompt returns the latest prompt version instead of treating an identical save as new content.
- Provider fixes preserve OpenRouter's own error explanation and avoid sending Gemini a zero maximum-output-token value.
Where it fits
These changes matter when tracing Together AI or ADK applications, maintaining prompt versions, or diagnosing failed provider calls. They do not demonstrate improved model accuracy, and this release note is not a hands-on evaluation of the integrations.
License and cost
The release-tag license is Apache-2.0. Software licensing is separate from hosted-service, inference and infrastructure charges; this note does not claim a free hosted tier.
These changes are reported by the maintainers. We have not independently benchmarked the release.
