The tinyfish-io/tinyfish-mcp-server repository was created on July 31, 2026. It is MIT-licensed. The README describes a local reverse proxy that exposes a Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint at http://127.0.0.1:3711/mcp and forwards requests to the hosted server at https://agent.tinyfish.ai/mcp.
If your client already speaks remote MCP, TinyFish says to connect directly and skip the local process. The local server exists for clients that only talk to localhost, or for API-key auth in CI. It reads TINYFISH_API_KEY and refuses to start without it. Keys come from agent.tinyfish.ai.
The docs say a connected assistant can search the web, browse websites, and extract data. Named clients include Claude, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor, ChatGPT, and Grok. Hosted auth is OAuth 2.1. This page does not quote a usage price.
For open-source browser infrastructure you run yourself, see Webcmd. The hub is TinyFish.
